GDPR commitment

Your data belongs to you. Here's exactly how ShopQuick honours your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

Last updated: 30 June 2026

Your eight rights

01

To be informed

You'll always know what data we collect and why, in plain language.

02

Of access

Request a copy of all the personal data we hold about you, any time.

03

To rectification

Get anything inaccurate or incomplete corrected without delay.

04

To erasure

Ask us to delete your data, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

05

To restrict processing

Pause how we use your data while a query or objection is resolved.

06

To data portability

Take your data with you in a common, machine-readable format.

07

To object

Say no to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.

08

Around automated decisions

Ask for human review of any decision made solely by automated means.

How we keep your data safe

All personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is tightly restricted to staff who genuinely need it, and we run regular security reviews. Data is stored on servers within the UK and EU, and we never transfer it outside this region without appropriate safeguards in place.

Making a request

To exercise any of your rights, email privacy@shopquickapp.uk with the subject "Data request". We'll verify your identity and respond within 30 days, free of charge. Most requests are handled much faster than that.

Data breaches

In the unlikely event of a data breach that risks your rights and freedoms, we'll notify the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) within 72 hours and tell you directly without undue delay.

Raising a concern

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the ICO, the UK's data-protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
